Your main purpose will be to transform reality through knowledge by generating applied interdisciplinary research that contributes to solutions for humanity's main problems and by forming professional agents of change. You will actively participate in the Bachelor in Mechatronics Engineering (BME) program, teaching classes primarily in English and, when required, in Spanish.
Teaching cutting-edge subjects such as automation, control, industrial networks, and cyber-physical systems.
Developing applied research that generates innovative solutions for society's major challenges.
Regularly publishing scientific articles in Q1/Q2 journals and participating in international conferences.
Attracting external research funding and establishing alliances with Top 100 institutions and international training partners.
Providing mentorship and guidance to doctoral and graduate students.
Academic Background: PhD in Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering (specializing in Automation, Control, or Robotics) from a Top 100 institution or Top 50 discipline-ranked university.
Experience: At least 1 year of verifiable international experience and a track record in teaching or research at recognized universities.
Research: h-index of 10 (SCOPUS) and an average of 2 Q1/Q2 publications per year over the last 3 years.
Languages: English proficiency at C1 level or 600 TOEFL points.
Desired Technical Knowledge:
Strong expertise in Industrial Networks and Industrial Automation.
Proficiency in ROS, robot dynamics, and robot design.
AI applications in mechatronics, microcontrollers, and CNC.
Mechatronic project management and product life cycle.
