The Ph.D. in Engineering Sciences (DCI) at Tecnológico de Monterrey is now open to highly qualified candidates interested in joining a full-time, research-intensive doctoral program.
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
Minimum GPA of 90/100 (or equivalent).
If the applicant holds a master’s degree, it may support the evaluation (both degrees must be submitted).
Comprehensive academic and professional trajectory evaluation with a minimum of 18 points (institutional rubric).
PAEP ≥ 585 or an equivalent standardized test (e.g., GRE).

Proof of English proficiency (TOEFL ITP ≥ 550 or equivalent).

Statement of Purpose aligned with research lines.
Academic curriculum vitae.
Two letters of recommendation (institutional format).
Each applicant has up to three attempts per academic level to pass the PAEP.
Official waiting periods between attempts must be observed.
PAEP scores are valid for two years and must remain valid at the start of the admission term.
Tecnológico de Monterrey provides a 100% tuition scholarship to admitted students in scientific graduate programs.
The living stipend scholarship is a personal application process managed directly by the student through Mexico’s Secretaría de Ciencia, Humanidades, Tecnología e Innovación (SECIHTI).
